President and Owner
Shon Harris is the President and Owner of LiveWire Electrical and Construction, Inc. We are a union contracting firm specializing in the installation of electrical and low voltage systems. Shon incorporated LiveWire in August of 2006 and began building the company’s portfolio with repeat business and new customers. He is the license holder for the company; He obtained his license with the City of Chicago as a Supervising Electrician 11 years ago.
Shon began his career in the electrical construction industry in 1998 and received his training through IBEW Local Union 134. During his time in the field, Shon gained experience running large-scale electrical projects, and quickly moved into Project Management. Some of the projects he has worked on and supervised are: Blue Island Recycling Paper Mill, Dresden Nuclear Facility, Lindblom Math & Science Academy, Solider Field Stadium, and Christ Hospital Oncology Wing.
Angela Drexel- LEED AP is LiveWire’s Vice President. Angela started her career in the electrical industry in 2003 as a Local 134 apprentice. During her 5-year apprenticeship, she worked for well-known electrical contractors in the Chicagoland area, and gained experience in managing projects. In 2005, she graduated from Daley College with a degree in Applied Science in Electrical Construction Technology. Shortly thereafter, she joined the management team of the Operations Department at ComEd. There, she applied her electrical industry experience to her new management role. And quickly gained the respect of her peers and the linemen she supervised.
In 2008 Angela graduated with a Bachelors of Industrial Technology and Management from Illinois Institute of Technology. She sought an opportunity that allowed her to use both her corporate experience from ComEd and her education. She ultimately decided to come “home” to the electrical construction industry and joined the LiveWire team. She is currently the CFO and directly manages the company’s fiscal operations, and focuses on building processes and procedures. She provides the necessary internal structure to support the Owner’s long-term vision for LiveWire.
Tiffany Robinson is a Project Manager at LiveWire , specializing in managing low voltage, lighting and technology projects. Tiffany joined team in 2009. She brought her experience in managing computer network infrastructure projects, structured cabling systems, access control, video surveillance, phone and intercom systems. Since joining our team, she has expanded her knowledge in electrical and lighting systems.
Tiffany has 10 years experience in project management, 6 are in the construction industry. She has a proven consistent track record for successfully bringing in projects on time and on budget. Tiffany is very detail oriented, organized and passionate about delivering results for our clients and our team.
Senior Project Manager
James has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry. He has been responsible for the management and construction of projects up to 81 million dollars in magnitude. His knowledge consists of over 25 years of construction in the Chicagoland area and expands throughout the US including Louisiana, Texas, North Carolina, Colorado, Indiana, Kentucky, and New York.
James has worked with many prestigious clients in the past, including Midway CTA Station, Metra facilities, Dallas Rapid Transit facilities, PACE facilities, Airport Terminal Facilities, High Rise Senior Housing, and Postal facilities.
Senior Project Manager
Jake is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with 9 years construction management experience.
Jake is hands on, quality focused, client oriented, and a driven individual with proven results in Design and Construction. He also has experience with cost management, scheduling, leadership, and support. Jake has executed projects as high as $60 Millions in magnitude.
Jake has managed projects as a Project Manager & as Field Superintendent for a diverse set of public/private clients; he is well versed in contracts as Construction Manager, General Contractor, and Design Builder.
